Barbeques and Open Fires

We have recently had an increased number of calls in relation to barbeques and open fires in the Derbyshire Dales area.  

If sighted they should be reported to the Fire Service by calling 999.  They will need to know your exact location or nearest landmark.  The best way of finding your location is by using what3words.  The fire service will make the area safe.

Derbyshire Dales District Council is the lead agency enforcing their Public Space Protection Orders so it should also be reported to them via this link; https://www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/community/community-safety/public-space-protection-orders  

If police are required, the fire service will contact us directly.
